Nightlife Spot: Tank Club
Tank Nightclub was launched in 2001 and since it is a favourite spot for local/international clubbers and DJ.
I almost sank in this stunning place built in a old water tank (not sure of that but look like). Quite impressive when you're down with great acoustic effect thanks the house music and spectacular lighting, interactive live-mixed video projections.
Tank offer three bars (never get thirsty there...), a dance floor and a private lounge. The underground space combines the original exposed timber columns, beams, huge basalt footings with funky white glossy graphics and modern wall sculptures.
Open: Fridays 10pm - 6am, Saturdays 10pm - 6am

Nightlife Spot: Home Nightclub
Home, Sydney's House of Music, is well located in Darling Harbour with 3 levels, multiple rooms, flashy and modern decor, good sound system (do not forget your earplug), great view from balcony (watch your steep in the stairs) and accessible bars with efficient service.
I would classify Home in (too?) big international nightclub. With that size it could be difficult to get a likeable atmosphere especially if the dance floor is half full or empty... Unfortunately during my Home night, many rooms were booked for a private party.
But sure you will get a good night here by looking your night feeling and happiness among the several dance floors, rooms (silver, crystal rooms), mezzanine, top roof terrace and the beautiful crowd...
Before to go Home: along the Cockle Bay Wharf you will find nice bars to warn up your night...
Just have a look to the next events and DJ's clubbing @ Home!
