My Grand Entrance. Can you believe, I stumbled across this website actually looking for postcards! Since I've always LOVED to travel (and I'm sure it's an illness), I knew I had to be a part of Virtual Tourist!
I've been quite fortunate to travel so much in my life time. No doubt this is due to the fact that I studied Tourism at college and at university and now work in the travel industry. When I had no sense of direction in life, it was my mum who suggested that I grab the reins of the travel world - so I did and have never regretted it. The travel bug has been biting me ever since.
My first ever trip abroad was to India, at the age of nine. Then I travelled across Europe (camping trip) with family from New Zealand, and haven't stopped since. I went on to visiting other Mediterranean destinations and then the US and Canada. Next came Dubai and India (again). My latest travels took me to the Far East - Malaysia, Thailand and Dubai (July/August 2008). I now hope to visit New Zealand, Australia, South America and many more.
I can't help but feel envious when I read about where other members have travelled. We proudly share the most honast and experienced travel insights, together with the most beautiful photos from all over the globe. I just hope that I can contribute to VT, as greatly as all you 'travel mad' friends out there.
