Brussels was one of those cities through which I had travelled many times, but never had really taken the time for to see it for what it was. I got the opportunity to enjoy it one full day and two evenings (my boss had strict working plans for the other two days...).
The consequence was that I wanted to see everything in this limited time span! I sacrificed my calves for this, because I could hardly stretch my legs the next morning. My muscles had been pushed to the their own limits. But.... I had seen almost everything that I had wished to see and even soaked up the Brussels´ way of life. It was wonderful. |
