  • Mon Ami.
A cosy French style café/restaurant on top of the glasshouse building in central town. Feels like you sit outdoors, but the glass roof protects you from rain and wind. Croissants, baguettes, soups, salads and light warm dishes.

  • Kafé Kafka.
Nice, central café with an intellectual personality.
The bookshelves, the inventory and the atmosphere which makes it a nice place whether alone or with friends.

Favorite Dish: The Irish coffee is great.

Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Bod?.
I found the kitchen very satisfying - and the interior is nice.
The restaurant has a renommé as the bastion of Italian kitchen in Northern Norway, and I can warmly recommend it myself.

Favorite Dish: "Filetto di agnello" with red wine sauce, cream baked potatoes....Tender...harmonic...melts in your mouth...

We spent a night in Bodo on our way from the Lofoten but didn't have time for sightseeing there. Would love to see Saltstraumen, the medieval church and the little museum. So we will have to go back. Beautiful pictures and interesting tips.
