"The magic kingdom of Hamarøy" Hamarøya by maritagnes

Hamarøya Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 20 photos

The region of Hamarøy stretches itself halfway between Bodo and Narvik. It's one of the most beautiful places I can think of, furthermore it's the birthplace of one of Norways most famous authors Knut Hamsun and it is the port where you can get over to the Lofoten Island by ferry for further experiences of the wild

A quite moment - actually a Sunday morning - when I strolled by myself at the nice little harbour of Skutvik. You can see the ferry too, still lying by the quai.
