"Montfort -my lovely village in Provence" Montfort by maritagnes

Montfort Travel Guide: 0 reviews and 1 photos

It's time I share some photos and memories from Montfort-des-Argents, where we stayed for a lovely week, that passed only too fast.

Montfort gave us all we ever dreamed of finding in a Provencial village, and we enjoyed every day in this little community. We were happy to rent a traditional, narrow three-storey village house,
enjoyed our little "trattoria" opening to the street, where we enjoyed our breakfast every morning.

Our children learned quickly how to order water and other stuff in the local grocery store, and came back very proud carrying "deux bouteilles de l'eau".

Life passes undisturbed in these little villages, the rhythm of life flows at its own speed, and this was excactly that we wished to find. We adjusted very soon to this life and rhythm, and could have stayed on an on, knowing however that we were guests after all, and had to go home.
