  That's a nice car, your friend tried to sell. Who bought it? A museum? I remember such cars way back in my childhood - they were already oldtimers those days. I think they called them 'Dauphin'

  Loved seeing and reading about your time in Paris when you were younger and then seeing in the travelogue much later and with children. Enjoyed the "treasures" that you had kept in rememberance.
