Welcome to the North of Norway! The travel bug hit me the first time I was taken on a trip abroad with my mother, and since then I have loved every opportunity to see and experience new places. Since i joined VT I have been lucky enough to travel quite a bit abroad, and I hope there will be many new chances in the future.
I'm a musician, passionate pipe organ lover and performer, lucky enough to have my love for music as a living. I'm married and mother to 4 wonderful children, and I'm a passionate book lover.
When I'm not travelling in a physical sense, my mind is always making a journey. And half the fun of travelling is the part of dreaming and doing research before going for real.
My travels abroad since joining VT:
June 2003: Tuscany and Umbria, Italy
October 2003: Stockholm, Sweden
March 2004: Salisbury, England
May 2004: Menorca, Balearic isles, Spain
July 2004: Luleå, Sweden
September 2004: Parma and Bologna, Italy
February 2005: Rome, Italy
June 2005: Car holiday to Paris, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur et Languedoc-Roussillon, France
September 2005: Barcelona and Santa Susana, Spain
February 2006: Budapest, Hungary
March - April 2006: 5 weeks in Caen, France
August 2006: Piemonte, Italy
May 2007: Terracina, Italy
July 2007 Sardinia, Italy
May 2008: Samos, Greece
June-July 2008: Groningen, Netherlands and Pays d'Auge, France
August 2008: Reykjavik, Iceland
November 2008: Poitou Charentes, France
My next travels:
May 2009: Rhodes Greece
Through my pages I will try to share some precious moments from my travels with those who happen to come by and visit my pages. I've seen so many wonderful ways to share travel experiences around here and discovered that there are so many people here with unique talents, showing them in so different ways in the way they make their pages. VT is really like a whole world in miniature in so many ways, and I like the way it gives every one a true opportunity to be a globetrotter.
It also encourages the respect for one another, no matter where we live, what our meanings are; our way of life, or whatever different talents or qualities we possess. So I feel the clue around here is: Find your place in this small and yet so big world, and have the courage to let your page pass the music on to others, the music and colours which this particular country fills your soul with when thinking back. |
| | My travel friends I have brought these little friends home with me from many of the countries I have visited during the years. Now their enjoying each other's company on top of my piano. |

I still have so many photos to publish from my recent trips, but I'm working on it at a very slow pace.

| | The sweetness of a rural sunset... ..at our summer place in Sandhornoy, Nordland. If only summertime could last forever... |
| | Taking photos while waiting for springtime Isn't it something sad...yet beautiful about an old little wooden house standing quite lonely in the outskirts of a modern city. Imagine what this house could tell about changes in seasons over the years....hasn't it seen a hundred times how the winter snow here North is reluctant to give way to green fields and spring flowers, even if its April already. But remember...this old cabin says... it has always been summer before...for those that are patient. |

| | Summer memories from my little corner of the world |
| | More summer in the North This scene is from Bodosjøen- situated close to the town centre of Bodo,, where I live. |
