Here on VT I take the opportunity to show you around in my wonderful Beijing!
The first time I visited Beijing was in December 1988. When I put my foot on the ground at Beijing Airport I had the strong feeling, that I had lived in Beijing in a former life! I came back to Bejing in April 1991 and September 1992. And again at the Spring Festival in February 1999! My last visit to Beijing was in September 2005.
1993/94 I was lucky enough to study Chinese at the Beijing Language Institute - one year in my favourite city!!! I think, this was one of my happiest times in my life.
- Pros:Friendly people, famous temples and palaces
- Cons:crowded and polluted
- In a nutshell:A wonderful city with wonderful people!
