A very good friend of mine lives in Fuhlenruee, a small village near Kaltenkirchen, which is a small town near Hamburg.

Fuhlenrüe itself is at a road between Kaltenkirchen and Bad Segeberg. The part of Fuhlenrüe, where my friends lives is about two kilometres away from this road.

oh yes, definitely, off any beaten path! ;-) ... but here it is on VT ;-) ... Only, if one takes the A7 north out of Hamburg and the takes B206 to Bad Segeberg, then of course one will have to pass rigth throug ...

Very nice, I actually like more visiting small places, maybe not that small, but in my last German tour in the spring I was visiting many small places and I enjoyed every moment of it.
