Hamburg is a fascinating city with many great "things to do". I am now (2009) living since 5 years here and there is still much to do for me.

Very much interested in your wonderful tips. My son is staying in Hamburg on a special work assignment. The Christmas lights in the city look awesome.

We are going to Dresden and Bamberg next spring-and one day hope to also get up to the north and see the wonderful sites. You did a great job of describing the sites and the pictures are very nice.
