since reading about the pink flowers in Istanbul in May in a guidebook ive been wanting to make my return trip to Turkey in May so its interesting to find your travel page titled this! so hopefully i will get there for May next year before finally getting back to China for the long awaited longer term stay!...one year in China!! had a fascinating trip around Turkey in 1999 seeing so many wonderful historical sites...especially Ephesus where we had a 4 hour meeting of groups from all around the world in the ampitheatre! but it was September so it was quite dry and not the vegetation like in your photos!

Haha, even in Turkey you still think about China. (You typed "Dalian" in your Dalyan tip!) I will go to both places next year (Dalyan and Dalian); Turkey in springtime and Dalian during winter.
