"Polar Bear!" Arctic by nepalgoods

When I was working on a cruise ship we saw a Polar Bear on the ice near Svalbard! This photo was taken at one o'clock in the morning, after our captain woke everybody up, shouting" Polar Bear" on the loudspeakers.

Oh my goodness, you've been to the ends of the earth! I've crossed the artic circle line but the furthest I've gone is Narvik ,Norway..

What a sight!!! I just have to come back to this picture again and again!! I sure hope, that our captain will wake us up as well - boy, that would be some excitement!!
