    • The Karakorum Highway is normally open for traffic from June to October. But even in this Summer months the road can be closed due to landslides or even snow.

    When I went up to the Khunjerab Pass in Mid-June, the weather was fine. But two days before, people could not cross the pass because of heavy snow-storms.
