I was thinking for a while, which of my scanned pics represents what impressed me most in Mexico. This photo of the beach at Tulum shows it all: wonderful beach, blue sky, interesting old ruins - that is Mexico!
I spent 4 weeks mainly in Yucatan Peninsula and in Chiapas. I was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the people and by the wonderful nature!
This is only an overview of what I saw. My tips are following the stations of my trip. For more details you could visit my respective pages.
- Pros:Wonderful beaches and interesting cities
- Cons:Cruiseships
- In a nutshell:Old culture and lovely beaches

What a great overview and excellent pics, Ulrike ! One day I hope to return to Mexico !
Excellent travels within Mexico.. Loved the tips and the colorful photos.. One question about the Giant Olmec Heads, is it possible to get close and touch the head or is there tape or rope around it preventing anyone to get close?? Thanks, Rafi
Very nice pages and pictures. Mexico does have some beautiful places.
