Somewhere between this red rocks is Petra, the hidden city of the Nabatean Kingdom. It is incredible but this stony valleys are full of monuments and relicts of this great city, which had been forgotten for many hundred years. The white houses are the homes of the beduins, who used to life in the holes and monuments of Petra. They have been relocated to new home, so that the ruins of Petra can be visited my tourists. |
