Crossing the Border | Near Irkeshtam Border Point |
Irkeshtam is a remote place and the border point between China and Kyrgyzstan. It is not allowed to take fotos at the border - of course! So this is only a small page to give an impression about the formalities and remoteness of this place.
I crossed the border being on a group tour in June 2007, so I cannot say anything about public transportation. There might be truck drivers, who take you with you. Or you can hire a taxi to the border. |
