Viking Blue green eyes ----------------- CLICK HERE for VIDEO on VIKINGS re-enactment
Denmark is my adopted techno-social patient centered home land because in my area of interest the Danes are leading the world. They lead the world in creating a healthcare system that has the interest of the patient at the center and the technology to support it. So I figured anyplace that has done that deserves a VT look.
But – and this is an important BUT for you the VT traveler it is a very cool place – really it is!!! The Danes are so helpful friendly and kind and all of them speak better English than I do
"To travel is to live" said Hans Christian Andersen, and you will probably agree with him. Indeed, he himself traveled extensively - in Denmark as well as abroad and now you can travel in his footsteps - go on walking tours in Copenhagen and Odense, visit the houses he lived in, or perhaps even take time out to pay your respects at his grave site in Assistens Cemetery in Copenhagen.

Fantastic Denmark pages, Ekahau. I had no idea about Jakob Riis and Ribe. Adds some additional flavor to a great place.
Nice tips!
nice to see Danmark through your eyes and we even have many places there in common ! Legoland is on my list for the next time !
I'm glad that you had a good impression of Denmark and the Danes on your trip - looks like you saw a lot.
What great sites--Viking history; the Jelling stone, whose inscriptions must have been so interesting to see and Hans Christian Andersen's home and the museum, both which would be fascinating to tour. Thanks for the tips...
Excellent insightful tidbits of Viking history and Jelling Stone. Must be fun to walk the walk of HC Andersen. Thanks for sharing. SL
