    Being from San Diego and new to Texas in general, I have found a haven in Cafe Eccell. The food is reminiscent of California Cuisine and, by all standards, excellent! They have great bread and fabulous desserts.

    Favorite Dish: Seared Salmon Steak rosemary mashers, sundried tomato relish, and cilantro buerre blanc 15.25

    Strawberry Tart 5.25

    Chocolate lined almond lace cookie shell filled with pastry cream and topped with fresh strawberries and an apricot glaze

    Classy, inexpensive Baja-style Mexican food. This place is owned by the same gentleman as Cafe Eccell.

    Favorite Dish: I really like their quesadillas with chicken or steak. My boyfriend always gets fish tacos. The best fish tacos we've ever had are at Fins in San Diego, but these are a pretty close second.
