The Gnarly Stone

by AdriannaTex - last update: Sep 5, 2002

Yup, I kissed the Blarney Stone. This is a post card I mailed to my dad when I was 9 the day I kissed the Blarney Stone. Now that I'm all grown up, I have heard for years that Irish locals urinate and do other more interesting things on the Blarney Stone. Though I don't remember the Stone having any particular flavor or getting sick, I think I will pass on kissing it again if the opportunity should arise.

You can see that I was a precocious writer. My father lived in SLC, Utah (yes, he's a Mormon; I'm not) and sent me on a 3-month trip with my mom all over Europe. We had traveled in the US quite a bit before my first Europe trip, but those 3 months gave me a lifelong lust for travel.
