PB Bar and Grill (also known as 'cheesy' bar and grill) is a quintessential San Diego bar. Located only two blocks from the beach, PB Bar&Grill is a local favorite. There is great food, great booze, and great people watching. Oh, you have to see PB Bar&Grill to get a true taste of the Pacific Beach nightlife. Come on Tuesday for $1.25 tacos... yummy!

Cass Street Bar & Grill is my favorite hangouts by the beach. This is a popular spot (especially Thursday nights) for the older beach locals. Don't let the word 'older' deter you... the food is excellent. Be sure to try the fresh fish or chinese chicken salad! serves beer and wine only - cash only (there's an ATM in the bar or across the street)

Gaslamp Quarter, Downtown San Diego. If San Diego has a night scene, this is where to find it. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit everyone. Stroll down 4th and 5th avenues until you find what you're looking for. The Gaslamp Quarter contains sidwalk cafes and open air restaurants, jazz clubs, late night dancing, and micro breweries.
