Although I'm originally from Utah (no, I'm not Mormon - thanks for asking) San Diego is and always will be my home. Where else can you find such great weather with the beaches, mountains, and desert all in such close proximity? I may be biased, but San Diego is America's Finest City. Some people say that San Diego lacks culture, but I object. I work in a molecular biology lab and there's plenty of culture here. But really, San Diego has a culture all its own. San Diego offers all sorts of activities for people who, like me, are lovers of the outdoors. Whether it be kayaking, surfing, hiking, cycling, etc. there is always something new to try. I love to surf and swim, but am currently out of commission due to recent shoulder surgery. Even with a bum shoulder I can still enjoy the fabulous weather. OK, I'm starting to sound like I work for the board of tourism or something. I don't, I just really love San Diego. |

browniepoints Sun Apr 12, 2009 04:00 UTC You don't even know where to go in Tijuana, don't make it seem like there aren't any clean streets or nice, non plastic things to buy. Choose where you go, think before you speak, don't judge. There are many nice places to go here. | Pawtuxet Sun Jan 16, 2005 14:32 UTC Looking forward to some good Mexican food.
