Surf the back beaches - Gunnamatta, Rye, Flinders

Every afternoon round 4.30pm, surfers gather on the cliff tops assessing the waves. Popular place to fish.

Port Phillip Bay beaches - safe for the family

Mt Martha

Right around Port Phillip Bay there are safe swimming beaches. During low tide, the beach width expands by over 100 metres- great areas for snorkelling to watch the marine life, sit and watch sunsets, munch down fresh fish and chips - oh! and the pubs are open just across the road.

Over the other side

Flinders Coastline

On the Western Port Bay side of the Mornington Peninsula, just a short drive through the wineries (if you make it through that is) you'll find even more beaches, surf beaches, views to make you want to get out the paints.
