Getting TO/AROUND: The Metro is clean, quiet, efficient and very easy to use. The Visite Paris card allows you to travel on the Metro as much as you want for a single price. Paris Visite pass can be purchased in all Metro, RER, Transilien SNCF stations, bus terminal ticket counters, RATP Boutiques, RATP sales desks at Orly and CDG airports and Paris tourist offices. You can also buy your pass in certain travel agencies and tour operators abroad.

Getting TO/AROUND: We flew in from London (Luton) on EasyJet. Cheap!!! The fare was 2.99 GBP each! Total cost with fees about $50.00 (US) You have to book early to get the cheap fare though!

it is popular for japanese woman to fly to paris to buy designer clothing a few times a year, sometimes buying 10-15 bags/shoes at once, and thus store owners have a limit per customer.. it's possible that those woman reached their limit? | XenoHumph Mon Nov 17, 2003 19:17 UTC
