Paris is one of the great cities of the world. You must go if you ever get the chance.

We only had 2 1/2 days so it was just enough to make us want to go back.

Louis Vitton stores won't sell very many handbags to Asians so they try to get other people to buy the handbags for them, possibly to resell. I read about this in the book "Time Was Soft There: A Paris Sojourn at Shakespeare & Co."

They tell you they are not allowed to buy another bag and ask you to do it. If you agree they give you counterfeit money to pay with - you get caught, they walk away! Its a way of circulating the counterfeit money.

Great page on Paris, great pictures too! You picked a delicious district to stay at, le Marais is one of my favorite!
