  • There are so many restaurants in Dallas that they named a area 'restaurant row'.

Texas border country is Mexico and we share 2,000 miles of land, so there is much influence here.

My favorite food here is Mexican and my favorite restaurant is called 'Abuello's'
'Fogo de Chao' is a brazilian restaurant - very unique.
All employees are from Brazil and serve the food as they do in that country. The gauchos pierce meat and cut huge peices and serve it off the stick for you.

    Favorite Dish: Everything~

Dallas has GREAT STEAKS and barbeque.

This picture is the West End where you will find Planet Hollywood and many other restaraunts.

The Spagetti Warehouse is also very famous for the Italian food.

One of my favorite places to eat is On the Border with feature dishes of enchiladas, fahitas, steaks, and great brunch menu.

Favorite Dish: Don't miss the margaritas. A tradition with Mexican food here in Texas.

Saltgrass has to be my MOST Favorite restaraunt in Dallas and the surrounding areas. Texas Angus Beef!

It is nicely decorated with western gear.

Favorite Dish: Filet mignon and the two fork cheesecake topped with strawberries and white chocolate sauce is unbelievable!

Steak and shrimp is excellent also.

We tried lunch and had a Texas Cheesesteak sandwich and soup with Shiner Bock Bread. Sides of garlic mashed potatoes are my favorite.

The soups are excelllent, steak soup, tortilla soup or potatoe soup covered with cheese.

If you are looking for a light meal, this will fill you full.

I was born and raised a Texan. Born in Ft. Worth Texas in 1951. Texas are GOOD PEOPLE. I toured Southfork only once, but sure enjoyed it. If ya run into other TEXANS, remember "Don't Mess With Texas!" See ya when ya git here!
