Rural England I live in UK and have done so all my life, So any help I can give to you out there, please ask. The cygnet was only 3 days old in the picture at Mersea. Around 32 miles from where I live in Halstead. I have visited many places in England, too many to list them all. Most of it is green, and there are beautiful scenery and lots of places to visit.. London is a wonderful place with so much to see and do. I have been to London so many times and not seen half the sights. Visiting the monuments, buildings, museums and tourist spots would take years to see and do in detail. The shopping is second to none (although expensive) There is so much variety from high street to designer gear and specialist shops for both clothes and gifts etc. The Shows in London are vast - everyone must see at least a couple if visiting. At Leicester square, you can book some shows for the same evening. Prices are cheaper than in advance. I live about 1 hour by car or train from London, so visit whenever I can. Ilive in a small town by most standards but have all the facilities for every day needs and beside pretty countryside as you can read on my travelougue. There are lots of walks from my home which we do a lot of in the spring and summer months. Normally 4 - 5 miles. We are lucky to have our family nearby so quite happy with life at the moment. |
