Canada coast to coast tour

17 day tour

Sundance Range Banff reflection
Just back from a fantastic trip to Canada.
We started our tour in Montreal where we had an excellent tour an hotel. Then to Toronto for one night taking in CN tower and harbour cruise. Next was Niagara for 2 nights and saw the falls from the air and opposite our hotel. We visited Niagara on the Lake and one of the local wineries. Next fly from Toronto to Vancouver where our hotel for 2 nts overlooked the English Bay. We did many trips from here.
Next to Kamploops and next into Jasper for 2 nts where we saw our first snow then finally Banff for last 3 nts. We travelled over 2300 miles and saw so many places, just too many to mention.
The main photograph was taken in Banff and is easily my best reflection photograph.
We travelled on coach, plane from Toronto to Vancouver. Seaplane over English Harbour at Vancouver. Hellicopter over Niagara Falls and the maid of the mist. Also went up on a Condola up to Sulpher mountain. Above Banff, the clouds and virgin snow. What an experience. We rode on lift up to top of CN tower and also Calgary Tower. We saw so many lakes and parks that the list is endless. There is so much to see and do in this very diverse country, it is very hard to pick where to return or photos to include in the page.
(Please ask before using my photographs)
Have more details as soon as I can understand my hurried notes written on the coach !
Canyon
We were lucky enough to see the first snowfall which made the canyons and lakes look more beautiful.

We missed out on the Racoons - we'll have to go back to see one. I know they're pests but they're cute. Mike

I love waterfalls, but this one at Buchard Gardens is outstanding! The locks at Ottawa are an impressive piece of engineering! And those Autumn colors, just amazing! Wonderful page Doreen.
