Santa Monica has it all for you. The Pacific Ocean serves as the biggest play-water you'll ever have hehe. You'll get to surf, play beach volley balls, roller blade, cycle, even just plain walking. You can walk all the way from Santa Monica beach to Venice Beach, well actually they extend a little further at both ends.
Equipment: Lotsa sun lotion and sunglasses.
Directions: The Santa Monica mountains is a great place for nature lovers. If you love to camp outdoors and hiking, then the mountains are certainly the place to go.
