I don't think Santa Monica has much of a night life. They have a few pubs but I don't drink :) The best place to party is still Hollywood. For me, an ideal way of nightlife-ing is stroll at the beach or at the pier, it's really romantic provided you have the right company.

Nightlife Spot: Tommy's Burger
if you ever get hungry and you happened to be in this area.. And I know how hard it is to get good food at 12 at nite.. But, there's a couple so called restaurant that's open 24 hours (thank God). Tommy's Burger they have the best chili burger ever!!

Directions: Take Pico all the way towards the beach (west I think) then you'll see it on the left on Lincoln
