"San Diego Wild Animal Park" Escondido by su_jen

We went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park on my birthday. This would be my first time there, and have heard lots of good stuff about the park. It is one of the largest zoo with free-roaming animals in the whole world.

From the train

The train ride is included in the admission fee. It is roughly one hour ride around the park which lets us see the wild animals from afar, the train driver/tour guide will brief about the animal origins and characteristics. Our tour guide was pretty good and seem very knowledgable about the animals. It would be wise to bring binoculars along as these animals are quite far away from the train's route. It is sad to say I burnt my camera's CCD chip which enable to see through the viewer, did not know about this until I got there :( So, backup plan was using my phone camera - pictures came out crappy as usual. Will definitely go back to the park once I get it fix or get a new one :)
