| Fountain in Fountain Square |
| | The Fountain in Fountain Square I travel to Cincinnati for business periodically. I usually stay either downtown or just across the river in Northern Kentucky.
The greater Cincinnati area has some beautiful old (for US starndards) buildings - especially the Art Deco designs. There's also a lot of history in this area - particularly from the Civl War.
The center of downtown Cincinnati is Fountain Square. Several major hotels surround it, including the Westin and the Hilton.
The fountain has an interesting history, and symbolizes the importance of water. |
buh bye I took this photo from the Marriott across the river, in Northern Kentucky. This is the old Riverfront stadium, which was imploded in 2002. | | | The "old" Riverfront Statium R.I.P |

BeatChick Sat Jan 22, 2005 01:06 UTC I love Nicholson’s Shepherd’s Pie & I love Guinness! Excellent review on Lookout Joe’s. Best sushi is found in Madeira at Amarin according to my old Japanese boss. You’ll also find great sushi & thai food in Mt. Adams at Teak Thai – one of my FAVE places! |
