This picture of of the Danube taken from a bridge in Bratislava. We were only there for about 2 hours, so I didnt get to see anything specific or go to get something to eat, which explains why this page is so basic .On the right is the Old Town and the Castle, on the banks of the Danube.
I had hoped to spend a day there with my friend who had come to Graz to see me. But when we arrived in Vienna there were only 2 trains to Bratislava that day and we had missed the morning one, so we would have to wait until 4pm to go to Bratislava and then get back to Vienna in time to catch the last train back to Graz around 9-10pm!! Still it meant we got to see Vienna's city centre (see my Vienna page) and we got the all-important Slovakia passport stamp, even if we were only in the country for like 2 hours! |
