Orlikins goes to Warsaw

by orlikins - last update: Sep 17, 2002

Only 1800 KM to go!
We arrived in Warsaw on a dull grey day and it stayed dull & grey when we were there for about 2 days.
By the time we got to Warsaw, we were so knackered, we did no sightseeing at all, and just slept most of the time. Our main objective was to reach warsaw in time so we could catch a cheap flight home. We didnt stray too far from the hotel & the Palace of Science & Jerominilske street. Beside the Palace, you'll find a market selling clothes, shoes and cheap booze. I picked up a tequila beer concoction... An interesting & intoxicating combination :)

Warsaw marked the end of our Baltic journey

I think you must definitely come back here and don't be afraid to part with the Palace of Culture this time, there are many more interesting things to be seen.

Warsaw is very nice when sun is shining... In summer 2002 Warsaw was beautiful , especially old town and skyscrapers. Good page! :)
