In January I went to Boeblingen on business as the head office of the company I worked for at the time is based there.

Böblingen is about 20 miles south of Stuttgart and there are a lot of IT companies based in and around the area, eg IBM.

There are a couple of nice bars but you will probably find yourself going into Stuttgart for real craic.

There is a Schlossberg in the centre of the town (hill fortress). At the peak of the Schlossberg is a church and the town hall.

The town is celebrating its' 750th anniversary this year.
