Evian is a little resort town on the Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) shore.

We took the ferry from Lausanne to visit Evian, where they bottle the water!! You can actually drink from the source ( a few hundred meters from the ferry terminal), and some locals even fill up huge jugs with the water, presumably their drinking water for the week.

a lovely place , but somehow I do not understand all that fuss about the famous water - in my opinion the tap-water is Austria is more tasty (but maybe less healthy??)
