Oregon has been my home since 1982. The northwest is a great place to live. It is relatively uncrowded, lots of outdoor activities (biking, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, wind surfing, etc,...), strong econonomy (Intel, Nike, etc..), and the weather isn't too extreme... but it does rain entirely too much for my tastes. That's ok now, because I just took up snowboarding last winter so it can rain all it wants now since it means more snow on the mountains! To really appreciate Oregon one has to see the entire state from the pacific rainforests in the west to the dry desert regions to the east. That's me on the left on Cinco de Mayo with some friends |
