This might just be my new favorite hotel on the strip. THE Hotel is a new tower of the well known Mandalay Bay. Every room is a suite with a large living room and a bedroom. Not that anyone really sleeps in Vegas, but the beds are super comfortable. The bathrooms are very spacious and even have LCD screens in them.
Just like the name, THE Hotel, everything inside is called THE Bar, THE Cafe, THE Coffee Shop.
Depending on the time of your stay, the rooms can actually be pretty inexpensive. One of the time that I stayed there, the rooms were $400 a night, and another time they were $250. Even on an expensive weekend, it's not that much more than most of the other popular hotels on the strip, but is so well worth the price difference.
Unique Qualities: Because THE Hotel is a sister of Mandalay Bay, they share the same pool. They have a couple of options. The most popular and largest is the Beach. The lounge chairs are set up on the sand, and the pool produces waves every 5 or 10 minutes. There's also a lazy river where you can float on a raft with a cocktail in hand. And the last, but certainly not least is the 21 and over, 'European style' pool, Moorea. It's a little on a smaller side, but is very chic and trendy. My friends and I love it.
There's so much to do here, you may not even need to leave this place the entire time of your stay.
