Rio de Janeiro Hotel Tips by HELEN

The Art Deco-style Olinda Othon Classic located right in the heart of the famous Copacabana Beach. Besides it's location, it's very moderately priced. We had a double room which was very spacious. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, and the service is great! Most of the staff speaks English which is a definite plus.

Unique Qualities: The hotel has large open windows facing the beach. There are tables and chairs set up facing the windows where you can hang out and read and enjoy the view of the beach. I really enjoyed staying at Olinda Othon, but I'd prefer staying in Ipanema over Copacabana.

Ipanema Inn Hotel is located a couple of buildings off the beach, right behind the tallest hotel in Ipanema - Caesar Park.
It's directly in front of the best spot on Ipanema Beach - Posto 9 (Post 9)
Rua Maria Quiteria, the street the hotel is located on, is a cute street with bars and restaurants .

Unique Qualities: Breakfast is included in the price of the room.
