A stunning city!

We visited Antwerp as I had bought my husband surprise tickets for Andre Rieu at the Sportpaleis, so why not make a week of it and visit Antwerp too. We have had the best time.

The city has a lovely ambience. It was November and we were really lucky. The sun shone and although it was a touch cold, it was just lovely to walk around. you do not need your car. You can walk to most places quite easily and if not, then there are plenty of buses and trams.

Antwerp was a revelation to us. The lovely old buildings, the amazing cathedral, the lovely statues.

We also loved the food!
