On one off my day's in Boston we make a Whale Watch trip, sailing abouth 2 hours from Boston with the depart from the New England Aquarium, we go on the New Catamaran Voyager III, the only vessel in Boston built specifically for whale watching.
We leave the beautufull skyline of Boston behind us.

And after two hours sailing we find the whales.
I have make a lot of pictures so i must them cut in small pieces, the pictures not the whales.

To discover the city of Boston is the best way with your feet, it takes more time but you see more, you can walk in loveley parks such as Boston Common Public Garden, Swan Lake.

Here in the middle of that park is the bridge over Swanlake, there can you go in a Swanboat for a trip over the lake (small lake).

When we return in Boston we take a look by the big dig, a project for clean up Boston from all the cars an make more green in the city, but it takes still a lot of years. You can visit the website of that construction.

For travel in Boston is the car not a good idea, but the metro is good, not so good as in Washington DC but it works. The reason for bad traveling by car is the bigdig. And you can also come by boat to Boston. Here a map of the metro.

I am visiting in the suburbs of Boston now. Have been here a month and leave Tuesday. The pics of the big dig are wonderful and interesting especially since the tunnel is closed due to falling roof. | gilabrand Tue Dec 14, 2004 11:37 UTC
