Apsara (Traditional) Dance Performance

A traditional apsara dance shows that is an absolute must for the visitor to Cambodia. Nightly dinner-theater performances are held at several locations including Apsara Theatre, Grand Hotel D’Angkor Performance Hall, Bayon II Restaurant, Chao Pra Ya Restaurant, Hotel Sofitel Royal Angkor and Koulen II Restaurant. Apsara Theatre’s elegant wooden performance hall and the Grand’s Performance Hall’s beautiful riverside venue have gained them both good reviews. Performances include a dinner of Khmer cuisine. Some venues offer ‘performance-only' seats. Traditional dances such as the graceful apsara dance, the light-hearted coconut dance, the fun and romantic fishing dance, excerpts from the Ramayana and other selections are performed. Dinner is at 7:00PM. Performances begin at 7:30 or 8:00PM and last about an hour.
