Half-side Well (in Lukang)

The well built one half outside of the house because at the old timer it can serve the thirsty visitors passby. This is a typical construction design at Lukang old houses.

New Baikuo Shan Amusement Park (·s¦ÊªG¤s¹C¼Ö°Ï)

The park is one of the tablelands of Pakuashan (The Eight Diagrams Mountain), There are facilities of B.B.Q. site, Mountain training plant, Electric Amusement Area, European-style Flower Garden, Lovely Animals Area, The Ecosystem of Ocean Animals, Arboretum and Rainbow show Hall. These are all well equipped; the performance is brilliant and interesting. Moreover, the Ancient-style Glancing Hall displays some disremembered Taiwanese folk custom relics. This is a fine and eligible amusement park.

Wenwu Temple (chinese: ¤åªZ¼q) - Changhua
Wenwu Temple (chinese: ¤åªZ¼q)

Lugang Wenkai School is right the Wenchang Emperor Shrine to be called Wentsz (Civil Shrine) for short, also called Wumyau (Military Temple). It's the place of origin of culture and education in Lugang. Such architecture built on the functions of the school, the shrine and the temple connected together is seldom. The Wen-Kai School, built in the years of Daugwang in Ching dynasty, is named in remembrance of the Confucian Shen Gwang-wen (Wen-kai). It's rebuilt after a fire, but has lost its original style-flavor. The Civil Shrine is dedicated to Wenchang Emperor; the Lugang's oldest poetry society "Ba She" was established there. The Military Temple is dedicated to Gwangung Emperor, with heavy worship.

Tyanhou Temple (chinese: ¤Ñ¦Z®c)

Lugang Tyanhou Temple was built in the 3rd year of Yungjeng in Ching dynasty, dedicated to Madzu. It's said that General Shi Lang brought the Madzu's statue when he attacked Taiwan. The statue was remained in Lugang afterward. The represent outlooks of the temple was rebuilt in 1936. The masters all have good skills that can be seen from the large and magnificent temple. The pilgrims who come for worship are so many; the thick clouds of incense had made Madzu's face black. Therefore Madzu is also called "Black-faced Madzu". There are big activities held on lantern festival and Madzu's birthday every year. The continuous tourists will always come for the activities.

Taiwan Folk Village (chinese: ¥xÆW¥Á«U§ø)

It's a large scale of multiplex holiday resort with sorts of subject parks. It includes mountain forest scenery area; Natural education area of various animals and plants; Taiwanese Area of yesterday displaying Taiwanese traditional relics and folk custom arts; the thrilling & exciting amusement park. Its well-equipped and variety of facilities are suitable for family's trip.

Confucius Temple (chinese: ¤Õ¼q) - Changhua
Confucius Temple (chinese: ¤Õ¼q)

Changhua Confucius Temple was built in 1726 more than 200 years ago, ranked as class-1 ancient remains. The present Confucius Temple rebuilt through the experts' study and design is still preserved its old appearance. The main hall is Dacheng Hall, dedicated to the memorial tablets of ancient saints and sages. In the middle of it is the Confucius Shrine with an attached tablet "Dau-gwan-gu-jin" bestowed by the Emperor Chyanlung in Ching dynasty. The imposing-scaled architecture looks solemn and magnificent.

Lungshan Temple (chinese: Às¤s¦x) - Changhua
Lungshan Temple (chinese: Às¤s¦x)

Lungshan Temple in Lukang, built in the end of Ming Dynasty, was repaired and moved to the present place during the years of Chyanlung in Ching dynasty. Lushan Temple is considered as the Taiwan's most beautiful and complete construction of Ching dynasty preserved today. Whatever the tall gate, the delicate well, the carved window, stone carved dragon pillars and the colorful roof beam are all wonderful works, praised by every one. Lungshan Temple has roomy capacity, peaceful and elegant environment.
