CPR Empress 2816 (2006/10/16)

CPR Empress 2816 steam train
CPR's 2816 is a class H1b Hudson type locomotive (4-6-4) built by Montreal Locomotive Works in December 1930. CPR Empress 2816 is now the only surviving H1b Hudson and is one of only a handful of preserved and operating CPR steam locomotives in North America. (2006/10/16)

 My Grandfather loved trains. He had a toy train in his basement of his home. He took us for rides on trains.He had a train across the mantle of the fireplace. I took a train ride later in life through the Swiss Alps, and that was the best train ride ever~
