CPR's 2816 is a class H1b Hudson type locomotive (4-6-4) built by Montreal Locomotive Works in December 1930. CPR Empress 2816 is now the only surviving H1b Hudson and is one of only a handful of preserved and operating CPR steam locomotives in North America. (2006/10/16)

Hi There Sunny. You've been busy since I last checked your pages. I've not got too much railroad stuff added since you last stopped by. You happened to be the featured traveler just now, and so thought I should say hello.
Hi sunny, wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Happy birthday Sunny and many happy returns of the day. Greetings from Lisbon. We do have also a steam locomotive working in the Douro line. Great views.

My Grandfather loved trains. He had a toy train in his basement of his home. He took us for rides on trains. He had a train across the mantle of the fireplace. I took a train ride later in life through the Swiss Alps, and that was the best train ride ever~
