I've lived in Vienna for 4 months, and fell in love with it... It's a beautiful place - small but lively. Conservative but radical... A city of mixed feelings... Architecture is superb, easy to get around - very good transportation system, not that expensive - certainly a place I consider residing someday somehow ;)

S-Bahn (tram) and U-Bahn... Transportation (1)

S-Bahn (tram) and U-Bahn (underground). Buses are good too, but if you are in downtown (inside the ring), just walk :-) more travel advice

Don't ever take those rides w/... Tourist Traps (1)

Don't ever take those rides w/ horse carts. I never did, but have seen that it does not worth it... more travel advice
