  • Eymir Lake is the smallest of the three lakes in Ankara. Surrounded by tall trees, and housing many birds including ducks, the lake is a great spot for hiking, cycling, fishing, rowing and other outdoor activities...

The lake is about 20 km (16 miles) away from the city center. To get there, you can either drive or take a bus to Gölbasi. There are buses from Kizilay (No: 105) and Ulus (No: 104)...

Please check out my Eymir travelogue for more info.

I fist went to this restaurant in 1979. Each visit to Turkey includes at least one visit to this place. I am in Ankara June 19th for a wedding and will go to this place. The best in the world--Don from Atlanta Georgia

I have been going since 1979. It is the best that I have ever had. I would love to help them break into the U.S. Market. The way they spice the meat is perfect. This needs to be a priority stop should you visit Turkey. It is a slice of heaven.
