The Japan I know

by Brighterstar - last update: Jun 29, 2007

Some customs........

First, I learnt how over-populated Japan is when I had traffic jams in the most of the places And crowds are really big in major shopping areas.
There are many interesting customs and rules to follow. Eg. if you are to put on a sleeping kimono, it is important that after overlapping, the left side must be on top. The other side on top is meant for the dead only.

When the Japanese wash their face, they do not move in circular movements but rather up down on the face.

Every Japanese have to visit Mt Fuji once in a lifetime. If one visit it more than once, he becomes a fool.

I really enjoy eating in Japan. It gives you the impression of healthy eating and food are prepared and served beautifully.

All these help make a trip to Japan very interesting.
