This town has a nice picturesque little harbour, very atmospheric late afternoon when fisherman are crowded round in groups playing cards. A large number of colourfully painted boats are usually drawn up on the beach.
Winston Churchill, who was a British Prime Minister, famously set up his easel on a terrace adjacent to the harbour and painted the scene. |
