Why do you travel so much?

I get asked this question often.

Is it to see wonderful sights, meet different people, experience different cultures to learn about history, tatse different cuisine and drinks, or just to say "I've been there"?

Maybe. Maybe all of the above, maybe some of the above,I really do not know.

All that I do know is that when I am travelling I am at my happiest and healthiest and that is sufficient for me.

When I have time to ponder and look back at my time these are a few of the things that stand out.

Natural Attractions.
1. Igusassu Falls - Argentina/Brazil.
2. The Grand Canyon - USA.
3. Perito Moreno Glacier - Argentina.
4. Cappoddocia - Turkey.
5. Sossuvlei Sand Dunes - Namibia.
6. Canaima National Park - Venezuela.
7. Torres del Paine National Park - Chile.
8. Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe/Zambia.
9. Ngorongoro Crater - Tanzania.
10. Borocay Beach - Philippines.

Man Made Sites.
1. Macchu Piccu - Peru.
2. The Great Wall of China.
3. Mayan Ruins, Tikal - Guatemala.
4. The Pyramids & Sphinx - Egypt.
5. Petra - Jordan.
6. The Berlin Wall during DDR times.
7. Abu Simbel - Egypt.
8. Temple of Karnak - Egypt.
9. Sydney Harbour - Australia.
10.Summer Palace Beijing - China.

Experiences.
1. Watching my 2 daughters born.
2. White water rafting - Zambezi River.

I hope there is much more to come.

My site is under construction. It may help if I bought a scanner. I intend to construct it eventually but it has been a long time since I have been to some places and my memory is fading like some of my photographs.
