"Extremely Hospitable Lakota of Cheyenne River ST" Eagle Butte by cochinjew
Eagle Butte Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 0 photos
When the Americans refuse to obey their own treaty of Laramie 1869, the great Lakota nation was broken into many pieces and one of the pieces was regrouped into the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
I have been extremely lucky to be associated with them. I am invited twice a year to visit them. Each time, someone from the tribe comes to pick me up at Rapid City, South Dakota which is about 150 miles away, and takes me back after my week long visit ends.
